Weekly Women’s Circle

A 4-week journey of guided self study to help you reconnect with yourself and create lasting change.

There are some things we go through in life that only other women can understand.  In a women’s circle we create a safe space for healing, exploration and connection. During this 4-week journey, you’ll experience compassion, trust and love and leave feeling empowered and connected. We will go on a deep dive to connect with our intuition and deepen the communication with our bodies, minds and spirits.

Create your own self-care toolbox

Unfortunately, stress is not something we can avoid or medicate for very long. If you need a better way to handle change, uncertainty and overwhelm, a self-care practice is the way forward. We’ll use mind-body techniques to create calm, awareness and detachment from negative experiences.

Self-Care Sundays

January 10th – 31st

Sundays at 9:30am PST

Each 90-minute class will be divided into 4 sections: Yoga, Meditation, Journaling, Conversation. These will be our tools as we learn new ways to cope with stress. You’ll learn how to create a self-care routine while getting the support of a group of fabulous people on their own journey.

You will be invited to participate to your own comfort level. Don’t worry introverts, you don’t have to speak up unless you want to. If you struggle with creating new habits and routine, this class will help hold you accountable as you work towards integrating these practices into your own life.

Gentle yoga 

This short practice will help you gain a deeper connection with your body and your inner knowing.

We’ll use yoga postures to delve into awareness of both the physical and emotional body so that we can access our peace, wisdom and gratitude.

Journaling

When we struggle with making decisions, knowing what we want or getting stuck in old patterns, we are really suffering from disconnection.

Journaling helps us reconnect to those parts of ourselves that may have been lost. Each week you will be given journal prompts and space for reflection. 

Meditation

Imagine being able to find peace in any moment, no matter what life throws at you. Through the practicce of meditation we can learn to enjoy the stillness that exists in each of us.

You will experiece a few different types of breath and meditation practices so that you can uncover what your body and mind crave the most. 

Conversation

Finally we will end our time together as a group discussing any insigts or ah-ha moments that you experience.

When we come into conversation with others on the same journey we can find healing, connection and compassion for oursleves. Plus gain a few new friends to boot!

Wellness is a journey and I’m here to guide you

I’m a wellness coach, yoga teacher, feminist, goofball, foodie, and matcha-loving dog mom. I help women who have lost their sparkle due to illness, loss, overwhelm or stress. I am your guide and trusted companion as you embark on a journey of wellness.

It wasn’t that long ago that I was completely lost and miserable. I spent more than a decade suffering from chronic illness, obesity, and totally lost in the abyss of depression and anxiety, unable to see the light. I’ve been alone, afraid and on the brink of giving up.

I was totally disconnected from body and my purpose. Completely and utterly stuck in every area of my life for years. A health crisis sent me on a journey I never could have imagined.

Today I am only alive because I made a choice to keep searching for answers. I found natural, healthy ways to cope with my stress and today I have energy and passion for life I never knew existed. I’m so excited to teach the tools that helped me heal and bring me into alignment with my purpose.

FAQ

Where does the class meet?

You will get a zoom link before each meeting via email. 

What do I need to bring?

Think of this class like having a yoga studio all to yourself. You’ll want to create a little cocoon to unravel, stretch out and feel the things just under the surface. Bring a yoga mat if you have one (don’t worry if not, a towel or blanket work too), perhaps some pillows or blankets to feather your nest. You’ll also want to bring a journal and maybe a cup of something yummy to drink. 

How does each class work?

Class will begin with introductions, a quick discussion of our theme for the day, followed by a gentle stretching practice for about 30 minutes. Following that, we will do a 10 minute meditation, 15 minutes of journaling and 15-20 minutes of conversation as a group. 

Do I have to sign up for all 4 weeks?

This class is designed as a progression. Each class will build on the one before. You will want to be at all 4 classes to get the most out of it.

What if I've never done yoga, or it's been a long time?

Not to worry! Think of it more as a good ‘ol stretch. No yoga experience necessary.
